Pregnant woman injured by lover's stabbing In Shariatpur's Damudya, a pregnant woman named Fatema Akhter Munni was injured by her boyfriend (divorced second husband). At around 8:30 on Wednesday night, her boyfriend Shariful Sheikh Imran stabbed her in front of Qutubpur Khairunnessa Noorani Hafizia Madrasa.  Locals brought him to Shariatpur Sadar Hospital in an injured state.  When the condition worsened, the doctor on duty sent her to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. According to the police and locals, Fatema Akhtar Munni was married to Billal Hossain Mridha of Tillai area of ​​Kaneshwar Union of Damudya Upazila.  Their family life was going well.  They have two children in their family.  Besides, Munni is 5 months pregnant.  In between, Munni developed an extramarital love relationship with Shariful Sheikh Imran of Char Padmabila area of ​​Moksedpur police station of Gopalganj district through mobile phone.  On August 16, 2023, Imran and Munni ran away and got married.  Before this, without informing Munni, lover Imran got married again. They got divorced on January 5 this year due to a family dispute over this issue.  They kept in touch even after the dirvos.  On Wednesday, lover Shariful Sheikh called Imran Munni on the phone and took him to the local Burirhat market in a rickshaw to Qutubpur area.  In front of Qutubpur Khairunnessa Noorani Hafizia Madrasa, Imran got Munni off the rickshaw and cut her in various parts of the body including lower abdomen with a knife and ran away.  Eyewitness Humayun Kabir said, I went after hearing the sound of screams.  I went and saw blood on my hands and stomach.  Everyone around sees no one helping him.  Later I took an autorickshaw and brought the woman to Sadar Hospital.  Dr. Shariatpur Sadar Hospital Medical Officer.  Amit Sengupta said, locals brought a woman to the hospital.  There are large bruises on his left hand, left ear and lower abdomen.  However, the lower abdomen has leaked and the esophagus has come out.  According to the patient, she is 5 months pregnant.  His condition was very bad for this.  So he was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.  Damudya police station officer-in-charge (OC) Emarat Hossain said, I have come to know about the matter.  The woman was taken to Dhaka for treatment.  Legal action will be taken if complaints are received in this regard
